Program for Obesity, Weight and Eating Research (POWER) at Yale


The Program for Obesity, Weight and Eating Research (P.O.W.E.R.) studies eating behaviors and cognitions in overweight individuals in order to develop improved treatments for outcomes related to eating disorders and obesity.   
Our research is nationally recognized, and we have active studies in the following areas:

Who is eligible?

Treatment and non-treatment seeking individuals with overweight or obesity.

Current Study

Training Opportunities

We offer clinical-research internships for undergraduate students during the summer and academic semesters. We also offer clinical training in eating/weight disorders for graduate students (psychology, nursing, public health, PA). Please email if you are interested in either opportunity.
