Mission

The Program for Obesity, Weight and Eating Research (P.O.W.E.R.) studies eating behaviors and cognitions to develop improved treatments for outcomes related to eating disorders and obesity.
Our research is nationally recognized, and we have active studies in the following areas:

Current Study

Training Opportunities

We offer post-doctoral training (associates, fellows) those with doctoral psychology degrees interested in pursuing clinical-research and academic careers careers in eating/weight disorders. Learn more about these positions by clicking here.

We offer clinical-research internships for undergraduate students during the summer and academic semesters. We also offer clinical training in eating/weight disorders for graduate students (psychology, nursing, public health, PA).
