Opportunities for paid on-call are available in several of the Departments affiliated institutions. Clinical activities outside of the Residency Program are monitored to ensure that they do not interfere with education, clinical performance or patient care responsibilities.
The department is committed to providing a home for all residents, no matter their ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or religion. We celebrate the diversity of residents in our program and believe your learning will be enhanced by exposure to different perspectives.
For nearly four decades, the YPRA has played a central role in resident advocacy at Yale. It has served as a liaison sponsoring both social and educational forums between residents, faculty and alumni.
