Psychiatrist Specializing in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

VA Connecticut Healthcare System and Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is recruiting a psychiatrist with experience and interest in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) psychiatry to serve as an attending at VA CT Healthcare System. The applicant will work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in order to provide evaluation, consultation and treatment for patients in an outpatient setting, including in a specialty PTSD program and the individual will be a part of the PTSD National Center, Clinical Neurosciences Division.

The individual will also be responsible for teaching residents, medical students and other trainees, and will be responsible for initiating scholarly work related to teaching or research. Applicants must be board eligible or certified in psychiatry and be legally employable. Preference will be given to applicants who have relevant clinical experience in PTSD and or related disorders and a history of academic productivity including publications and/or independent funding and be in a position to initiate and produce scholarly work.
