17th Annual Yale National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder Conference: Borderline Personality Disorder and Life Disrupting Behaviors

This year’s Yale-NEABPD Conference will feature a day-long virtual conference on Friday, May 6th, 2022 focused on themes of disruptive behaviors, such as substance use, aggression, suicide, and self-harm, in borderline personality disorder.

Our day-long virtual conference will feature:

  • Keynote presentations by Dr. Alan Fruzzetti from McLean Hospital and Mr. Brandon Marshall from House of Athlete.
  • A range of presentations by leading researchers in the field
  • Presentations by individuals with lived experience of borderline personality disorder and their family members
  • Break-out sessions, allowing for hands on learning and greater interaction between conference attendees.
  • A poster session featuring the latest research and initiatives for borderline personality disorder
  • An Exhibition Hall open during the hour-long mid-day break, with opportunities to visit our sponsors’ and exhibitors’ booths and resources

All conference events are open to mental health professionals, training clinicians, researchers, those with lived BPD experience, and their family members.

6.25 hours of Continuing Education Credits are available to physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and counselors. Receipt of CEUs requires you to attend the full conference live on Friday, May 6, 2022, 10am-6pm EST. CEUs will not be provided to professionals unable to attend the conference in it’s entirety on May 6, 2022. No reimbursements will be available to professionals unable to adhere to policies and procedures required to receive CEUs. As a reminder, continuing education credits (CEUs) are available to physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and counselors. Credits will be processed and provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Professionals looking to receive continuing education credits must register accordingly in their registration.
