Wyatt honored with minority fellowship from American Psychological Association

Janan Wyatt, PhD, a postdoctoral associate in the Forensic Drug Diversion Service at Yale School of Medicine, has been awarded a Minority Fellowship from the American Psychological Association in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

The fellowship will support Wyatt’s career development as a psychologist specializing in behavioral health outcomes among racial and ethnic minorities presenting with concurrent substance use disorders and criminal justice involvement.

Benefits of the fellowship include financial support, a small budget for travel and related expenses, training and enrichment experiences, access to information and resources, and networking opportunities.

Wyatt is a 2018 graduate of the Yale Department of Psychiatry’s Doctoral Internship in Clinical and Community Psychology. She completed graduate work at the University of Rhode Island.
