Ilan Harpaz-Rotem, PhD, professor of psychiatry and of psychology, has been invited to speak at the Neuroscience for Primetime Symposium at the Society of Biological Psychiatry (SOBP) Annual Meeting in May.
Harpaz-Rotem was one of three scientists identified by the SOBP Education Committee whose research has led to an important story in the field. The scientists are invited to participate in the primetime symposium, which is geared toward making scientific findings accessible to broad audiences. The talk will be May 9 at the SOBP Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.
Harpaz-Rotem will speak on the unique neurobiology of traumatic memories and potential pathways for therapeutic change.
