SATU—Substance use and Addiction Treatment Unit
SATU—Substance use and Addiction Treatment Unit is part of Addiction Services of the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC), a cooperative endeavor of the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Department of Psychiatry of Yale University School of Medicine. SATU provides the Greater New Haven Community with state-of-the-art services for the evaluation of alcohol and drug abuse. It also offers on-site counseling and individual, group, and family sessions; specialized outpatient treatment for those who are eligible; and referral to other treatment programs based on client need.

Take I-91 South
- Take I-91 South toward New Haven and merge onto I-95 South
- Once on I-95 South get off on exit 46 and make a left at the light onto Sargent Drive
- At the second light turn right onto Long Wharf Drive
- Proceed to the large parking lot in front of the seven floor office building (One Long Wharf)
- Facing the building, SATU, is the facility on the far left of the ground level of the building.
Take I-95 South
- Take I-95 South in the direction of New Haven
- Merge onto I-95 southbound and get off at exit 46 and make a left at the light onto Sargent Drive
- At the second light turn right onto Long Wharf Drive
- Proceed to the large parking lot in front of the seven floor office building (One Long Wharf)
- Facing the building, SATU, is the facility on the far left of the ground level of the building.
Take I-95 North
- Take I-95 North in the direction of New Haven
- Follow this route until exit 46 and make a right at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto Long Wharf Drive.
- Follow straight through the next light and end at 1 Long Wharf Drive.
- Proceed to the large parking lot in front of the seven floor office building (One Long Wharf)
- Facing the building, SATU, is the facility on the far left of the ground level of the building.
