Travel Awards

The Sex & Gender & Alcohol Satellite programming committee is thrilled to announce the availability of 50 travel awards to support the participation of students and early career investigators in the RSA pre-meeting on June 22nd. Here's what you need to know:

• $500 Stipend

• Must be a student, postdoctoral trainee, or non-NIH funded junior faculty within 2 years of your academic appointment.
• You must be first or presenting author of a poster at the pre-conference meeting.
• Must be a US Resident

• A 1-page personal statement highlighting your interest in sex/gender alcohol research and financial need.
• Abstract focused on sex/gender differences in relation to alcohol/ethanol
• Current CV or Biosketch
• Letter from current advisor/chair documenting student/faculty status
• Compile materials into a single PDF document in the following order (personal statement, abstract, CV/Biosketch, letter from advisor/chair).
• Email the PDF document to yalescore@yale.edu by April 1, 2024.
