Learning Objectives:

Participants will learn about differences between kratom consumed in Southeast Asian countries and “kratom” products consumed in the US. Specifically, they will learn about:

Differences between available products and how they are consumed.
Differences in their chemical composition and potential different pharmacological effects.
Differences in safety profiles between kratom consumed in Southeast Asian countries and “kratom” products consumed in the US.

Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
