Biography
Claudia McKenley is a Postgraduate Associate who works in the Racial Equity and Addiction Lab (REAL) and the Program for Recovery and Community Health (PRCH). She works on multiple research projects that seek to provide culturally sensitive faith-based substance use treatment to Black and Latine populations and enhance equity in alcohol use research for racial and ethnic minorities. She attended Southern Connecticut State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. In the future, she aspires to become a clinical psychologist. A fun fact about her is that she was born in Jamaica and immigrated to the US in 2012.
