Dr. Marc Nespoli currently serves as the attending Geriatric Psychiatrist for the Home Based Primary Care program of VA Connecticut, where he works with an interdisciplinary team in order to help older adults safely "age in place." As an Assistant Clinical Professor for Yale University medical students, residents, and fellows, Dr. Nespoli also leads courses in capacity evaluations, cognitive assessments, and home visits; he is also the facilitator for a clinical case conference on the biopsychosocial model for geriatric patients.
Dr. Nespoli completed his fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry from Yale University, and is board certified in this and Adult Psychiatry. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Vermont, where he earned the Sweetser Award for Excellence in Psychiatry. Dr. Nespoli has co-authored a book chapter on the Geriatric Assessment, and has served as an invited speaker for the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut.
