Dr. Marc Nespoli obtained his medical degree from the University of Vermont, where he earned the Sweetser Award for Excellence in Psychiatry. He then completed his residency in adult psychiatry at Boston University, and his fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Yale University, and is board certified in both. Dr. Nespoli currently serves as the attending geriatric psychiatrist for the Home Based Primary Care program of VA Connecticut, working with an interdisciplinary team in order to help older adults safely "age in place." As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry for Yale University medical students, residents, and fellows, Dr. Nespoli leads courses in capacity evaluations, home safety, and cognitive assessments, and serves as the facilitator for a clinical case conference. He has co-authored a book chapter on the Geriatric Assessment, and has served as an invited speaker for the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut.
