Addiction Medicine Rounds: Evidence-based E-cigarette Policy - Where Do We Go From Here?

The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome Abigail Friedman, PhD, as speaker for Addiction Medicine Rounds on February 9, 2023.

Title: Evidence-based E-cigarette Policy: Where Do We Go From Here?

Learning Objectives:

    1. Discuss current evidence on the relative health impacts of vaping e-cigarettes vs. smoking conventional cigarettes, in language accessible to patients.
    2. Describe the policy implications of evidence that e-cigarettes are economic substitutes to conventional cigarettes, and implications for different patient populations.
    3. Characterize current evidence on the effects of banning flavored electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), and implications for patient smoking cessation/reduction.

    Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
