Psychiatry Grand Rounds Medical Student Education Welcome to the Department of Psychiatry! Our residents, fellows, and faculty are committed to excellence and innovation in student education. The Department of Psychiatry participates in all four years of the medical school curriculum.Yale Psychiatry Residency Our residents have chosen Yale for many reasons - among them our outstanding clinical and academic programs, our engaging and dedicated body of residents, and the ability to have impactful input into your own education plan over the course of your training.
Fellowships The Yale Department of Psychiatry offers several opportunities for graduates of general psychiatry residencies to continue their training. Clinical fellowships are offered in areas like Addiction Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Hispanic Psychiatry, and Public Psychiatry. There are research training opportunities in Biological Sciences, Neuroscience, Substance Use and Addiction, and Alcohol Studies. Post-MSW Fellowships in adult psychiatry and adolescent school-based services are offered by Yale Behavioral Health.
