We have forums, including Student Research Day and the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, that help amplify student research.
Student Research Day is a major event at the Yale School of Medicine because of the M.D. thesis, which has been a requirement for graduation from Yale Medical School for over 161 years. All classes and conferences in all departments are cancelled for the afternoon.
The Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine (YJBM) was founded in 1928 under the initiative of Dean of the Medical School as a place for Yale medical students to publish their original research.
