CSS Profile Application

MD students who want to be considered for Yale School of Medicine funds (Yale Scholarship, Yale Loans) must complete a CSS Profile application as well as a FAFSA. The CSS Profile Application must include parents' financial information along with the student's own income and assets.

3rd year campus PA students applying for Yale scholarships are not required to submit parental information.

IMPORTANT:

  • MARRIED AND TO BE MARRIED STUDENTS:
    If you are married, you must include your spouse's income and asset information. If you are planning to be married during the current academic year, you must also provide your future spouse's income and asset information.
  • PARENTS:
    If your parents are legally divorced or separated, your custodial parent must complete the CSS Profile. The custodial parents will remain the same each year. If parents are not legally separated we need both parent’s information.

At Yale School of Medicine, you must file a CSS Profile Application to receive financial aid. There is a charge for filing this form.

  • Read the instructions carefully.
  • Be sure to complete the whole application, leaving nothing blank.
