Alexandria Garino, PhD, PA-C, associate dean for PA education and assistant professor, received the Article of the Year award from the PA Education Association (PAEA), for her article, Publish or Perish: A Cross-Sectional, Bibliographic Analysis of Physician Assistant Faculty Publications (Garino, Wang, Min). (Lei Wang, assistant director technology and innovation, Cushing Whitney Medical Library, was one of the co-authors.) Garino was recognized at the PAEA’s Education Forum in October. The awards are presented annually at the forum to, according to the PAEA, “recognize the educators, trailblazers, and innovators who represent the best of the PA profession.”
