Frederick L. “Rick” Greene, M.D., HS ’76, has been elected president of the Southeastern Surgical Congress for 2013-14. Greene served as chair of the Department of Surgery and residency program director at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., from 1997 to 2012. He is currently clinical professor of surgery at the University of North Carolina.
