Research Summary
I am committed to a career of leadership and scholarship in areas of medical education and clinical care. My scholarly efforts are focused on understanding and leveraging the most influential factors in the patient-provider relationship in chronic disease management outcomes. I am dedicated to developing creative, dynamic, educational, and clinical methods that produce graduate medical providers who are dedicated to clinical excellence.
Equally, I am committed to the work of improving clinical approaches and interventions to continually improve outcomes in diabetes management within the framework of the therapeutic patient-provider relationship alliance.
