C. Norman Coleman, M.D. ’70, was honored with a University of Vermont Alumni Achievement Award at the annual Reunion & Homecoming weekend on October 5. Coleman graduated from the University of Vermont in 1966 with a bachelor of arts in mathematics. He trained in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco; in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute; and in radiation oncology at Stanford University. Coleman is associate director of the Radiation Research Program in the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis and special advisor to the director of the National Cancer Institute.
