Graziela has been working with researchers in Brazil and Colombia to improve the healthcare system, advocating for high quality in the public mental health system. Her work is related to developing a cultural understanding of recovery, citizenship, and peer support strategies that offer better care in mental health services.
Graziela is involved in volunteer work with Latinx communities in the United States. She advocates for equity and inclusion of people facing behavioral health conditions and discrimination in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking local and global communities.
