Biography
Genevieve Maquilan, MD, currently cares for patients at Smilow Cancer Hospital in Guilford as part of the Department of Therapeutic Radiology.
Before joining Yale, Dr. Maquilan practiced at the Massachusetts General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts after completing a fellowship in proton therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Cooley Dickinson, she was involved in developing a growing department that underwent the installation of a second linear accelerator and the introduction of treatment techniques including lung SBRT and breast ultrahypofractionation. She completed her residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and received her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her clinical practice will include treatment of genitourinary, gastrointestinal, central nervous system, and head and neck malignancies.
