Research Summary
Dr Chan’s research focuses on the neurological impacts of HIV infection, including the persistence of immune activation in the central nervous system, the development and persistence of cognitive dysfunction, and the association with vascular inflammations and neurodegenerative diseases in virally suppressed people living with HIV.
