Research Summary

Neurosurgeon-scientist capable of strategizing minimally invasive surgical cytoreduction of brain/spinal tumors and developing novel adjuvant therapeutics based on immunogenetic profiling of tumors

Extensive Research Description

1) Tumor immunology: To study how brain tumors evade anti-tumor immunity by exclusion of cytotoxic T cells

2) Functional connectomics: Leverage machine learning to understand the human functional connectome during health and disease and to facilitate connectome-based interventional neurorehabilitation (transcranial magnetic stimulation)
