Research Summary
I have conducted work assessing the implementation of chiropractic care in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA began providing chiropractic services in 2004. I began a sequence of health services projects aiming to assess the structures, processes and outcomes associated with the introduction of these new clinics to VA.
My other research focuses on management of low back pain. I developed an informatics decision algorithm using VA administrative data to discriminate acuity in low back pain cases, and have worked with interdisciplinary teams to develop collaborative care pathways.
