Biography
Research Summary
Dr. Dager uses functional MRI and other neuroimaging methods to study neurocognition in young people with substance use disorders. Her research has focused on characterizing the neuroanatomical, functional, and neuropsychological precursors and consequences of substance involvement during adolescence and young adulthood. In particular, her work has highlighted the importance of implementing developmentally appropriate models to understand addictive behaviors during adolescence and emerging adulthood.
