Biography

I am an emergency physician and infectious disease epidemiologist. I completed my medical degree and a PhD in infectious disease epidemiology at Johns Hopkins, and residency at the Harvard-Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency (Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital). My primary academic interests is in the control of infectious diseases of global health significance. My prior research has focused on HIV and tuberculosis and quantitative epidemiologic methods including mathematical modeling. My current work at Yale aim to better understand the epidemiology and development of immunity to SARS-CoV-2. I am also very interested in medical education and bioethics, particularly as they relate to the arena of global health.
