Biography
Hollin Hakimian is a Postgraduate Associate under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph Ross at the Yale University School of Medicine. In the Yale Center for Research and Evaluation (CORE), her work supports the Yale Collaboration for Regulatory Rigor, Integrity, and Transparency (CRRIT), the Yale-Mayo Clinic Center for Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI), and the Yale Open Data Access (YODA) project. She is a recent graduate of Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Previously, as a Sophomore Research Scholar and Presidential Research Scholar at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, she assisted in the development of a digital health intervention that aimed to improve the lives of young adults with a history of struggling with their type 1 diabetes management. Additionally, her work at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center sought to evaluate a novel intervention approach to prescribing exercise to stage 0-III breast cancer survivors based on affect regulation.
She plans to apply to Clinical Psychology PhD programs and her interests lie in lifestyle medicine and empowering patients to reach their optimal level of wellness by adopting healthy habits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running, and practicing her Farsi.
