Biography

Cristina Naranjo Ortiz has worked in clinical research since earning her B.S. in Physical Therapy in 2000. She holds a PhD in Health Research in the Outpatient and Hospital Setting, an MS in Health Research, and an MS in Anthropology. Her dedication to regulatory writing drove her to further her education with a Certificate in Regulatory Writing (2022) and a Certificate in Clinical Trials Management and Regulatory Compliance (2024) from the University of Chicago.

In her current role at the Yale Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office, Cristina supports IIT protocols, manuscript preparation, and the compilation of clinical study reports to facilitate trial closure. She collaborates with principal investigators, project managers, and regulatory specialists throughout the entire lifecycle of clinical trials. Cristina's bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English enhances her ability to communicate complex medical and scientific information effectively.
