I assist Dr. Fuad Abujarad on the development of digital health projects such as the “Virtual cOaching in making Informed Choices on Elder Mistreatment Self-Disclosure (VOICES)” tool, aimed to increase identification of elder mistreatment cases that often go unnoticed by enabling older adults to self-disclose their mistreatment on tablet devices, and the “Patient Centered Virtual Multimedia Interactive Informed Consent (VIC)” tool, an interactive informed consent coach that enhances the informed consent process to safeguard participant health literacy and improve trust in research.

My research primarily focuses on the field of digital health to improve patient outcomes, and in particular my recent work with the Digital Health Lab has explored improving outcomes for older adults experiencing mistreatment.
