Mx. Gaughf holds a Master of Arts in Applied Theatre from the City University School of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Florida State University. In her previous work at the University of Rochester Medical Center she created an adaptation of Theatre of the Oppressed for the medical field called Theatre for Healthcare Equity.
Mx. Gaughf has successfully led Theatre for Healthcare Equity workshops with medical faculty and staff at institutions such as Brown University Department of Neurology, University of Texas Austin Dell Medical School, and the American Academy of Neurology’s Annual Conference. Additionally, she utilizes traditional educational methods to teach classes on dismantling unconscious bias, responding to microaggressions, and other crucial topics related to creating a more inclusive work environment.
