Biography

Dr. Gerber is a T32 postdoctoral fellow in the Yale Child Study Center. He is mentored by Dr. James McPartland. He received his Ph.D in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Stony Brook University under Dr. Matthew Lerner. Dr. Gerber completed a clinical internship at the Stony Brook University Consortium Internship Program.

His research interests are centered on personalizing psychological treatment for autistic youth. He utilizes behavioral, EEG/ERP, and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) techniques to develop novel predicters and markers of treatment outcomes. His currently funded research focuses on understanding loneliness and suicidality in autistic adolescents.
