Supporting Earthquake Victims in Turkey & Syria

In the aftermath of last week's devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, countless people are grieving, worrying about the injured, and without a home in the aftermath. When devastating times like these bring human suffering, many seek ways to be of support and service.

Several resources have been shared across the University, including Turkiye Earthquake Relief, an arm of Turkish Philanthropy Funds identified by members of the Yale community and several others identified in a message of support from the Yale Office of International Students and Scholars.

Yale Child Study Center Postdoctoral Associate Ayşe Çobanoğlu, whose home country is Turkey, reached out to her colleagues at the center immediately to share a list of resources to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. She followed up to add some organizations that aim to address children’s needs in the affected areas. These are listed and linked below.
