YSM Curricular Update

TAC Lab Lockers Available

Lockers will be available outside of the second floor TAC labs for all MS1s to store lab coats, glasses and other items which will be used in the Microbiology labs.

Following the Thanksgiving break you will receive information from Marion Miller on the process for receiving your locker assignment and instructions for obtaining your lock combination.

On Tuesday November 15th we mistakenly sent an email indicating that you would need to complete a Qualtrics survey to receive a locker. Please ignore the instructions in that email. You will receive a follow-up email from Marion Miller later this week describing the process for obtaining your locker. Please reach out to Marion Miller with any questions.

No Eating or Drinking in the TAC 2nd & 3rd Floor Lab Laboratories

It is important to remind everyone that there can be no food or drinking in the 2nd floor TAC Laboratories or in the TAC 3rdf floor Anatomy teaching spaces. This includes no disposal of food or drink containers or wrappers in these spaces per EHS requirements. These teaching labs are labeled as hazardous areas by EHS. There are areas outside the labs labeled for food and/or drink purposes, and trash cans for food/drink waste disposal. Every user of the TAC Biohazard Teaching Labs needs to comply with the state and/or federal requirements. Violation by one user of the conditions regarding DPH permit approval between Yale University and DPH, affect the DPH permit privileges of the entire building (TAC)

Eating During Career Lunches

Effective the week of November 14th students are permitted to consume food and drink supplied by the Offices of Curriculum and Student Affairs for career lunches in the classroom during the sessions.
