Pattabiraman Receives Burroughs Wellcome Career Award for Medical Scientists

Yale Child Study Center Assistant Professor Kartik Pattabiraman, MD, PhD recently received the Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) 2022 Career Awards for Medical Scientists for his work on developmental disruption of prefrontal circuits as the neurodevelopmental etiology of schizophrenia.

The Career Awards for Medical Scientists is a highly competitive program that provides 5-year awards for physician-scientists to bridge advanced postdoctoral/fellowship training and the early years of faculty service.
