Chawarska selected as 2023 Fellow for International Society for Autism Research

Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) Professor Kasia Chawarska was recently selected by the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) as a 2023 INSAR Fellow, one of the highest honors the society awards to researchers who have made significant contributions to improve the lives of individuals with autism.

The program, which began in 2017, honors distinguished members of the society whose work has had a significant international impact on the scientific understanding of autism spectrum disorder, clinical practice, educational methods, and/or policy. The 2023 Fellows will be announced at INSAR 2023 during the awards ceremony, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Chawarska serves as the Emily Fraser Beede Professor of Child Psychiatry at the YCSC, as well as director of the Social and Affective Neuroscience of Autism Program and the Yale Toddler Developmental Disabilities Clinic.
