Biography

Deanna Nardella, MD joined the Yale community in 2022 as a National Clinician Scholar after completing her general pediatrics training at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Nardella's scholarship aims to inform health policy and healthcare delivery to promote high-quality, person-centered, and equitable healthcare across the pediatric continuum. Her research largely focuses on the design and implementation of innovative dyadic care models, treating both mother and child to better address drivers of rising U.S. maternal and infant mortality rates.

Dr. Nardella serves as the co-chairperson of the Connecticut (CT) Infant Mortality Review Committee, designated by the CT Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
