Cushing/Whitney Medical Library: "Searching MEDLINE on the OVID Platform"

Ovid provides an alternate search interface for MEDLINE and a number of other database including Embase, PsycInfo, AMED and Global Health.  Once you become familiar with the Ovid search software in MEDLINE you can easily search other databases on the platform.  We will cover the basics of searching MEDLINE through Ovid and demonstrate how to save searches and create autoalerts. The class will also compare and contrast features of Ovid MEDLINE with PubMed.
