Cushing/Whitney Medical Library Training: "Expand Your Literature Searching with Embase"

Registration is required. Please click here to register. Embase is a database covering international biomedical literature from 1974 to the present day. All MEDLINE records produced by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) are included, as well over 5 million records not covered in MEDLINE. Embase is especially strong in its coverage of drug therapy and pharmaceutical research as well as medical devices.  In this class, you will learn why you should and how to conduct effective literature searches in Embase. We will also discuss how Embase compares with MEDLINE.  Embase is available via the Ovid platform.
