A friendship forged in Vietnam: George Cadwalader and Kristaps Keggi
When a land mine landed George Cadwalader in a steamy tent of the Third Surgical Mobile Hospital ("MASH") in Vietnam in 1965, little did he suspect that his surgeon, Kristaps Keggi, was another son of Eli. Keggi's actions would save Cadwalader's legs, and the two became friends.
