IOL to benefit from Young Investor Grant
The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) recently announced the recipients of its 2021 Young Investigator Grants, including an award to an Institute of Living researcher studying the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to curb opiate use.
Dr. Vaughn Steele, director of the Steel Lab at the Institute of Living (IOL), will receive $70,000 over two years for his research, entitled “Circuit-based transcranial magnetic stimulation in opiate dependent individuals.”
