Research Summary
The focus of the Sports Equity Lab (www.sportsequitylab.com) is to reduce inequities in sport so that sport can do the same in society. Sport's power to improve health, foster social inclusion, and inspire people to reach for excellence, with integrity, cannot be overstated. Particularly for persons who may experience marginalization due to disability, (physical and/or intellectual impairments), gender, heritage, or low socioeconomic status, sport can be an important change agent.
