Research Summary
Dr. Towns is interested in exploring the relationship between sleep and cognition in patients with a variety of neurological diseases. Sleep quality is a determinant of patient quality of life and cognitive presentation that is often overlooked by their care providers. Dr. Towns hopes to improve our ability to improve cognition in patients with a variety of conditions by illuminating the role sleep quality plays in cognitive symptoms and neurological conditions in general.
