My research focuses on three main areas:
(a) social-emotional skills and the prevention of aggression
(b) environmental influences (e.g., schooling, family influences) on cognitive development from a multicultural perspective; and
(c) the role of education and mental health in the criminal trajectories of court-involved juveniles.
