Research Summary
Research and Career Interests: Dr. Ijaz uses implementation science and stakeholder-engaged methods to research the translation and adaptation of evidence-based practices in pediatric care to resource-diverse and non-traditional settings. His research currently centers on oxygen systems development in low- and middle-income countries, with a focus on bubble continuous positive airway pressure implementation for childhood pneumonia in Pakistan. He applies the same principles to studying the implementation of health promotion programs in mosques
