Biography
Research Summary
My love for research was ignited in the lab of Dr. Vonderhaar in the Mammary Biology and Tumorigenesis Lab at NIH. We studied the interactions between immune cells and stroma of the breast tissue. I completed my PhD at Penn State University in the department of Pathology studying p120-catenin and it's effects on tumorigenesis in squamous cancers of the esophagus and oral cavity. During my last two years of medical school I worked with Dr. Amanda Nelson in the department of Dermatology studying Hidradenitis Suppurativa and its' Invasive Proliferative Gelatinous Mass.
