Research Summary

Dr. Baum’s research focuses on the intersection of gastrointestinal cancers, palliative care, and health services with a focus on cancer supportive care and psychosocial distress. She also has a special interest in the intersection of the opioid epidemic with cancer care and in the care of young adult patients with cancer.
