Ms. Yousey-Hindes's research interests fall under the umbrella of infectious disease surveillance. With a broad interest in zoonoses, her past analyses have included such topics as Lyme disease, rabies, and influenza. Most recently, her work has focused on the correlation between socioeconomic status and hospitalizations for viral respiratory diseases like influenza, RSV, and COVID-19.
