Amr received his MD Magna Cum Laude from Cairo University (Egypt) and completed his clinical training at Cairo University Hospitals (Egypt). He did his rotations at Cleveland Clinic Ohio and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He is working at Yale as a postdoctoral Digestive Diseases fellow. His research interests are related to gastrointestinal physiology, clinical studies on GERD, endoscopy, and endoscopy unit efficiency.
Amr previously worked as an Emergency Physician on the Red Sea coast. He is an avid traveller, tennis player and enjoys listening to oldies.
