Theodore Marmor

This is the largest project worldwide on the future of the welfare state. It involves a twelve-year grant to Bremen University to address, comparatively, the world of medical care, retirement pensions, and labor market realities in the context of the changing role of the European Union in national policies. Professor Marmor was engaged in a book project analyzing the politics of health and health care, drawing on the research produced by a collaborative group since 1994. The book reviews changes in health and health care policy.Professor Marmor maintains active scholarly collaborations with the participants in this project.
